Join Our 1K Warm-Up/Sign-Up TOMORROW at Parkside & Lexington Communities!

 

The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is a little less than  month away, so we helping drive more people to sign-up and support the cause by hosting a 1K Warm-Up race and Sign-Up drive at two of our communities.  Tomorrow, Saturday, Sept, 25th starting at 10:30 a.m., you can come out to Parkside at Bennett's Creek in Suffolk or Lexington in Virginia Beach and join us for quick walk or jog around the communities.
 

After your jaunt around the neighborhood, stop by the Komen tent to sign up for the Oct. 16 race, get breast cancer info or sign up to volunteer to help the organization.  Our models will also be open and you can step inside and cool off, enjoy some healthy refreshments, and take a relaxing tour of our beautifully decorated models!  The 92.9 Wave truck will also be on site at our Lexington community offering some entertainment!

  We're going the extra mile, or one kilometer, in an effort to help the Tidewater chapter of the Susan G. Komen foundation.  On Saturday, Sept. 25 starting at 10:30 a.m., we're hosting a 1K warm up walk/run around our communities of Lexington in Virginia Beach and Parkside at Bennett's Creek in Suffolk.  After the "race," stop by the Susan G. Komen tent and sign up for the 10K race to be held at the Virginia Beach oceanfront on Sat., Oct. 16.  Sept. 25 will be the last day to sign up at the discounted race rate, so it's a good time to come out and support a worthy cause, and check out our communities too.
  
  We'll have lots of valuable information about breast cancer awareness and all of our communities, and healthy refreshments in our beautiful sales models immediately following your route!  So, mark your calendar now, and make plans to join us!
