Race Day Was An Awesome Day For 

Susan G. Komen & Chesapeake Homes!

It was a Beautiful Morning at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.

Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010 started out early on the boardwalk at the oceanfront.  We held the honor of having our booth right next to King Neptune.  By 7 a.m. hundreds of of racers and event visitors began to arrive... by 8 a.m. the number swelled into the thousands!

Our race team - CHEST-apeake Homes - was comprised of over 65 employees, vendors and friends of Chesapeake Homes who were all out to help support the cause.  In our booth, we gave away reusable totes and pens to anyone who signed up for a free $100 Gift Card giveaway.  Sharon H. is our lucky gift card winner, and over 1000 people walked away with our totes and pens!
