When Chesapeake Homes made a commitment to become a community sponsor of the Susan G. Komen Tidewater affiliate, we were determined to help create awareness about breast cancer. We felt with our many communities across Hampton Roads, that we could help the effort to create awareness about breast cancer. We also promised to make a donation to their fundraising efforts for every home sale we made during the month of October.
Making good on our promise, John Barnes, President of Chesapeake Homes recently met with Ilona Webb-Bruner, Executive Director of the local Susan G. Komen office and presented her with a check.
Just because breast cancer awareness month has passed, it doesn't mean we have lessened our support of this cause. We continue to offer breast cancer information at our sales offices, and will participate with the Tidewater Susan G. Komen affiliate throughout the year to offer our support!
