Thanksgiving
is Approaching
Now that we are well
into November, it’s probably time to get ready for the biggest meal of the year…
Thanksgiving dinner. Here are a couple
of things you should start thinking about now:
- Choose a menu
- Decide if you are ordering a fresh turkey or a frozen one
- Remember that it is best to allow 4-5 days to let the turkey completely thaw
- Start checking your local grocery ads
- Pull out all of those decorations from your attic
Chesapeake Homes offers
the perfect environment for the holidays this year. Big open rooms and
welcoming floorplans will allow you to easily visit all of your guests at the
party. Do you have family visiting from out of town? Perfect, we offer extra bedrooms in almost
all of our homes just for these occasions.
The days leading up to
Thanksgiving is when you should start kicking it into high gear:
- Start shopping for non-perishables
- Make your pies
- Begin to defrost your turkey
- Chop your vegetables on the day before
- Chill your white wines
- Set the table ahead of time
Once you finish all of
these points, tackle that Turkey on Thursday and enjoy being around all of your
friends and family! Make your
Thanksgiving even more special by spending it in a cozy Chesapeake Homes
home.
