Chesapeake Homes Host Silent Auction Benefitting Komen

How would you like a massage from one of the top Spa companies in North Carolina?  How about a new Michael Kors handbag?  Maybe you are more into sports; let us offer you a chance to bid on a pair of tickets to the big NCSU vs. Wake Forest football game OR two front row seats to see the Carolina Hurricanes Hockey Team!  We will also be auctioning off one of Belk’s most popular bedroom & linen sets.  There will be something for everyone at the Chesapeake Homes’ Silent Auction benefitting Susan G. Komen North Carolina Triangle to the Coast affiliate.

The auction will be held in one of our Parade of Homes model homes, located at Traditions Wake Forest, 205 Traditions Garden Lane. Chesapeake Homes will be hosting the Parade of Homes Silent Auction on October 18, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m., with catering by Macaroni Grill.   The special evening will also include complimentary refreshments and live entertainment and lots of fun in addition to the food and bidding.  With no admission fee, we will be encouraging donations be made to Susan G. Komen North Carolina Triangle to the Coast for attending.  No amount is too big or small, we just urge you to make a difference!  Don’t miss out on a chance to bid on some of these fantastic prizes while supporting Komen!

Now don’t forget that the Parade of Homes will be going on for three weekends in October, the 4th & 5th, 10th – 12th, 17th – 19th, and Chesapeake Homes will have seven homes for you to check out for yourself in four different communities.  We look forward to see you out there touring the models!

Salute to Our Military at Homearama

What is Homearama anyway?  It is only the most anticipated time of the year for homebuyers, and architecture admirers everywhere.  Homearama is a 12-day single site exhibition of completely furnished, landscaped and polished homes that present the latest in design, furnishing, construction and technological innovations. 

Basically, where everyone drools over the beautiful homes that are in front of them.  This takes place over three consecutive 4-day weekends from October 17^th through November 3^rd.  From noon to 8pm you can come by and see all of these beautiful posh yet expensive homes for yourself. 

Recognizing everything the military does for us.

During the last week of this showcasing, Homearama will be celebrating the military.  The theme will be “Salute to the Military” where veterans’ support groups will be on hand to talk about patriot guard riders, combat veteran riders, freedom hunters, toys-for tots etc.    In the third house USO, Honor and Remember, Children of Fallen Patriot and other programs will be portrayed.  Sky Dive Suffolk is scheduled to jump into the Homearama site carrying an American flag, making it a magnificent sight to see.

Upon arrival, Chesapeake Homes’ Balmoral will be the first thing that you see. We will be in the first tent giving out free hot dogs, refreshments, sodas and whatever you need to fuel up for the event.  Chesapeake Homes will be giving out free gifts and a special gift for military members.  We are offering a special promotion to our military and giving away a free stainless steel washer/dryer combo or refrigerator with their new home purchase from us!  Make sure you stop by Balmoral to see our beautiful and affordable homes, and grab a hot dog while you’re at it!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game

Chesapeake Homes is happy to announce that they have awarded the $1,000 raffle prize to Karoline Ardis!  Karoline claimed her prize last Thursday at our beautiful H2O community which is located right next to the Hampton Coliseum and Peninsula Town Center- perfect for taking in all of nature’s gifts while getting all of the perks of Hampton city life.

For those of you who might have missed out, Chesapeake Homes regularly sponsors Tides Baseball each season, and can be found hosting a table on the concourse – which is where, at one of these homes games, that Karolina registered for our giveaway.  We have been sponsoring the Norfolk Tides for years now, and who doesn’t love a good baseball game?  At their table, Chesapeake Homes gave out some fun baseball stress balls (which everyone needs every once in a while) and held a raffle.

In this raffle, we were offering the opportunity to win $1,000 just by writing down your name.  Karoline was the lucky winner this time, but next time it could be you! It’s Not Too Late to Tee Off!

A little rain never hurt anyone, right?  If you had not signed up in time for the Chesapeake Homes Golf Tournament, consider this your lucky day.  The tournament has been extended to October 21^st, 2014 due to weather conditions.  This means that you still have time to support our local Susan G Komen affiliate! 

One of Chesapeake Homes’ biggest fundraising events, this Tee Off Tournament will support research to finally defeat breast cancer.  We invite you and your friends to participate in our charity golf tournament.  Whether you are a scratch golf player or just want to play for fun, come out and show us what you’ve got. 

You do not necessarily have to be a player to participate in this tournament either.  Become an official sponsor by donating a raffle prize, silent auction item or just a donation to Susan G. Komen Tidewater.
